Injected
Using injection moulding technology, Grimont produces high-quality components for various market sectors.
It has constantly evolved to print the many new polymers that the industry has developed and the market demands, and has also equipped itself with special technologies such as bi-injection and over-moulding.
Injected plastic frames can have any style, from the most classic to the most eccentric, because it is an easily workable material. In addition, there is also a wide range of colours, being able to choose from the most imaginative.
Avana effect – Patent No. 0001411634
Recently Grimont patented a process that allows injecting simultaneously two materials inside the mould. It can be used with a wide range of polymers and achieve a Avana effect, I.e., a spotted aesthetic resulting from the mixture of multiple colors / materials. Usually these effects are obtained by painting. Our patent has the double advantage of significantly reducing price and processing time, as it achieves the result in a single step; moreover, by avoiding painting, it eliminates all problems and risks of impact on the environment.
Acetate slab
The process begins with a raw slab that is cut by numerically controlled milling machines, reduced to the desired thickness and shaped. The acetate slab are then animated and tumbled into the finished product. We produce cellulose acetate components from a wide range of colours.
Microinjection
Microinjection is used by many brands worldwide. It allows you to easily create aesthetically pleasing three-dimensional components, such as labels, grommets and many decorative and/or functional components.
This is a special process whereby, by injecting small amounts of material, articles with multi-coloured and even multi-layered embossed lettering can be obtained.
It allows the indelible printing and colouring of logos or images and is characterised by a very high print quality and a very high level of durability.
